Diesen Sonntag findet Lost and Found in Zusammenarbeit mit tink – trans inter nonbinary kino statt. Es wird um 15:30 Uhr der Spielfilm ”By Hook or By Crook” aus dem Jahr 2002 gezeigt.
Es wird keine Eintrittskasse geben und alles ist wie sonst auch Spendenbasiert.

„By Hook or By Crook“ war bei seiner Entstehung bahnbrechend und ist auch heute noch hochinnovativ. Der Film erzählt von einer butch und trans Freund_innenschaft und zeigt drei Wochen im Leben eines gutaussehenden, gender-bending Träumers aus einer Kleinstadt, der einen nagenden Messias-Komplex hat.
Nach dem Tod seines Vaters emotional am Boden zerstört, zieht Shy in die Großstadt, um sich „dem Verbrechen“ zu widmen. Er wird schnell von Valentine abgelenkt, einem überaus ausdrucksstarken, schlauen Adoptivsohn, der sich auf die fehlgeleitete Suche nach seiner leiblichen Mutter begibt.
Die beiden schrägen Gauner tun sich zusammen und lernen in dieser visuell beeindruckenden und wunderbar gespielten, antiautoritären Geschichte über Freundschaft, Vertrauen und Erlösung die wahre Bedeutung von Gelassenheit unter Druck kennen.

“By Hook or By Crook” was groundbreaking when it was made and remains highly innovative today. The film tells the story of a butch and trans friendship and depicts three weeks in the life of a handsome, gender-bending dreamer from a small town who has a nagging messiah complex.
Emotionally devastated by his father’s death, Shy moves to the big city to devote himself to “crime.” He is quickly distracted by Valentine, an extremely expressive, clever adopted son who embarks on a misguided search for his biological mother.
The two offbeat crooks team up and learn the true meaning of composure under pressure in this visually stunning and wonderfully acted, anti-authoritarian tale of friendship, trust, and redemption.
